about

A beautiful classical guitar playing a motif from the piano piece "Cristofori's Dream" by David Lanz is how this began. Layering in Rebecca's vocals with Ricardo's bass and bongos absolutely makes this a stunning piece of music. Thank you to Igor Banholzer for all of your help with this project, all the way from Germany!

lyrics

“Show Me How”

Sometimes I wish not to fear
I wish to be safe and sound
Just to be myself

Sometimes I wish to be heard
Just to be held safe and sound
Not all by myself

I’m hiding behind this masquerade
All that while knowing deep inside of me
I yearn so much to be set free

It's not so easy facing the unknown
Oh how I long to be free
To be true to myself
Where I was meant to be

This is a game I wish would end
There is so much more to life than this
Yes so much more that I can see
I’m tired of the time I spend in fear
Show Me How, please Show Me How

Sometimes I pray not to fear
I wish to be safe and sound
Not hiding away

Sometimes I hope to be loved
I need to be safe and sound
Set me free tonight …
